Workers Compensation Pay As you Go

State laws require employers to carry workers compensation insurance for injured workers. You have 2 options in providing workers compensation insurance for your workers.

  • Under the first option, you may run the payroll with us and then contact your own insurance broker and obtain workers comp insurance coverage through them. This option might be less expensive for you than the Pay As You go workers comp shown in option 2 below.  However, at year end, the insurance company will most probably ask you to fill out a "Workers Comp. Audit report" whereby you can go to our site and print the wages for the period in question and fill out and respond to their report.

  • Pay As You Go Option though our site.  We are not an insurance company and do not provide workers comp insurance.  However, we do have a referral system whereby a workers comp administrator tries to get the best quote from different carriers and then sets up a Pay As you Go Premium payment system through our payroll system. Once setup, the W/C administrator charges a fee directly to you of $10 per month plus $58 annual fee for workers comp which is in addition to the premiums you pay and off course our payroll processing fees are separate than this. Please note that we derive a very small commission from the administrator but we recommend that you save these administrative fees and ask your own independent broker for a quote. If you are interested in a workers comp. administrator to contact you for a pay-as-you go plan and provide you a quote to compare the rates with your own broker, then please let us know by checking the workers comp box in the free payroll trial.
