CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY TO DO EVERY MONTH

  • As a Plan 1 client, you are required to monitor the e-payment and e-filing of all tax payments and filings through the system.  If you do not wish to monitor these matters, then you would need to sign up as a Plan 2 client which carries additional fees or alternatively choose another payroll provider.  Under Plan 1 clients, the client is responsible to take the following actions:
  1. After you run payroll every time, you need to go to tax payments (top left), tax payments and make sure that the taxes shown there say EFT under payment method.  If it does not, then send us an email notifying us that the taxes shown as needing to be paid are not showing as EFT.
  2. Every month, you need to go to Tax Forms (top left), File Tax Forms, choose the previous month, change status to All and click on the box next to each of the forms shown over there and hit the  E-File button (is a lightning rod at the bottom of the screen).  You then need to check back in 2 business days after you hit the e-file button to make sure that the E-file status is showing as Accepted.  If the e-file status is not shown as accepted, then you need to send us an email at support@10DollarPayroll.com and notify us that the form has not been e-filed.
  3. In January of each year, as a Plan 1 client, you must go to Tax forms, W2’s, go to the bottom and view the form W-2 copy A / W3 by clicking on the box next to the form and hit the print button at the bottom.  View to make sure all information is correct.  Thereafter, click on the box next to W-3 and hit the E-file button to e-file the W2’s.  There is a 10% of wages penalty which can be substantial penalty if you do not e-file to W2’s, so you need to make sure the W2’s are e-filed in January of each year.

We take no responsibility if you fail to adhere to the above responsibilities required of Plan 1 clients.  Again, if you do not wish to take the above steps, then you need to either sign up under our Plan 2 program where we monitor the e-payments and e-filings for you or you need to choose another payroll processing provider.
