CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY TO DO EVERY MONTH

  • As a Plan 1 client, you are required to monitor the e-payment and e-filing of all tax payments and filings through the system.
If you do not wish to monitor these matters, then you must sign up as a Plan 2 client (additional fees apply) or alternatively
choose another payroll provider. Under Plan 1, the client is responsible for the following actions:
  1. After each payroll run, you must go to Tax Payments (top left) and verify that all taxes listed show EFT under the payment method. If any taxes do not show EFT, you must email us immediately notifying us that the taxes are not set up as EFT.
  2. Each month, you must go to Tax Forms (top left), select File Tax Forms, choose the previous month, change the status to All, select each form listed, and click the E-File button (lightning bolt icon at the bottom of the screen). You must then check back within two (2) business days to confirm the e-file status shows Accepted.
If the status does not show Accepted, you must email support@10DollarPayroll.com.
  3. In January of each year, you must go to Tax Forms, select W-2s, scroll to the bottom, check the box next to W-2 Copy A / W-3, and click Print to review accuracy. After review, check the box next to W-3 and click E-File. Failure to timely e-file W-2s may result in significant penalties.

Additional Client Responsibility – Verify All Forms Are Filed and Taxes Paid

  • Clients must review each quarter under Tax Forms → File Tax Forms to confirm all forms are correct,
e-filed, taxes e-paid, and that no unfiled returns remain.
  • All quarterly returns are attempted to be e-filed on the 21st day after the quarter ends.
Clients must log in after that date (e.g., after January 22 for Q4) to verify filings and payments.

We take no responsibility for penalties, interest, rejected filings, or unpaid taxes resulting from failure
to comply with Plan 1 responsibilities. Clients unwilling to perform these steps must upgrade to Plan 2
or choose another payroll provider.
